A lesson in goaltending...
A goalie can only do so much. They can snatch pucks out of the air, make amazing kick saves and stand on their head all they want, but if the defense and/or the rest of the team is playing with their heads up their asses, then the goalie is basically screwed. This is essentially what happened tonight. Marty Turco played an outstanding game in net (40 saves), but the team in front of him just wasn't there. They weren't physical, their passing was atrocious, and they just weren't making smart plays quite honestly. None of this was Turco's fault. The score probably would've been the same if Crawford was in net.
End of lesson.

I've been a Turco fan from the start and I will forever have his back. He was the only player PLAYING that night, the D was still on the bus. The score could've been a helllll of a lot worse had it not been for Turks. HATERS TO THE LEFT, YA'LL...
